Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH Company, seeks an Area Engineering Manager to lead regional engineering operations from our Ogden, UT facility, with support to Idaho Falls, ID. The role emphasizes product design, testing, and technical support for multiple lines, aligning with commercial and operations teams.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s in structural/civil engineering, 4+ years in structural design, and a Civil PE or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of structural design experience.
• Concrete Design experience preferred.
• Experience with infrastructure construction products in Energy/Water/Communications markets preferred.
• Knowledge of engineering systems, manufacturing processes, and safety regulations.
• Proven leadership, communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage regional engineering teams across multiple facilities.
• Drive process optimization, cost-reduction, and technical problem-solving across sites.
• Ensure consistency in engineering practices, documentation and quality standards.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, EHS, and Quality to drive reliability and manufacturing excellence.
• Monitor compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and corporate policies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize product performance and cost.
• Balance workload across the regional team while supporting local plant management.
