Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking an Area Engineering Manager to lead regional engineering operations across multiple sites with a focus on product design, performance, testing, and technical support. You will collaborate with commercial and operations teams to align goals and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The role is hybrid at a facility in Ogden, UT, with support for the Idaho Falls, ID location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of engineering systems, manufacturing processes, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Proficiency in engineering software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CMMS, etc.).
• Willingness to travel ~10%.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage regional engineering teams to ensure performance and alignment with company objectives.
• Drive process optimization, cost-reduction initiatives, and technical problem-solving across sites.
• Ensure consistency in engineering practices, documentation, and quality standards across the region.
• Partner with Operations, Maintenance, EHS, and Quality to drive equipment reliability and manufacturing excellence.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as corporate policies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize product performance and cost efficiency.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop engineering talent across the region.
