Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking an Area Engineering Manager to lead regional engineering teams across multiple facilities, focusing on product design, performance, testing and technical support for our infrastructure products.

You will collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, EHS, and Quality teams to ensure alignment, drive reliability, and maintain engineering standards across sites. Travel ~10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of structural design experience.
• Concrete design experience preferred.
• Experience with infrastructure construction products in Energy/Water/Communications preferred.
• Strong knowledge of engineering systems, manufacturing processes, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage regional engineering teams to ensure performance and alignment with objectives.
• Drive process optimization, cost-reduction initiatives, and technical problem-solving across sites.
• Ensure consistency in engineering practices, documentation, and quality standards across the region.
• Partner with Operations, Maintenance, EHS, and Quality to drive equipment reliability and manufacturing excellence.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and corporate policies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize product performance and minimize cost.
• Balance workload across the regional team and support local plant management.
