Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking an Area Engineering Manager to lead engineering operations across multiple facilities in the region. The role blends design leadership with cross-functional collaboration to support product performance, testing, and regulatory compliance.

You will oversee regional teams, drive cost-reduction initiatives, and promote best practices while ensuring safety and quality across sites in Ogden, UT, with support for Idaho Falls, ID.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 4+ years of structural design experience.
• Concrete design experience preferred.
• Experience with infrastructure construction products in Energy, Water and/or Communications.
• Strong knowledge of engineering systems, manufacturing processes, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CMMS and related tools.
• Civil PE certification required or obtainable within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage regional engineering teams to ensure performance and alignment with company objectives.
• Drive process optimization, cost-reduction initiatives, and technical problem-solving across sites.
• Ensure consistency in engineering practices, documentation, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, EHS, and Quality to drive reliability and manufacturing excellence.
• Monitor compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and corporate policies.
• Share best practices across Oldcastle Infrastructure's engineering community.
