Job summary

Career Team is a leading workforce development organization focused on transforming lives through technology, training, and dedicated support. We seek an Employer Services Manager to lead a business services team, develop employer partnerships, and align training with workforce needs in Deep East Texas.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), 2+ years supervisory and B2B sales experience, and strong MS Word/Excel skills, with 50% regional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of supervisory experience and 2 years of B2B sales experience.
• Knowledge of the WIOA program and other workforce program requirements.
• Strong understanding of local labor market trends and industry demands.
• Creative and innovative approach to developing community-focused solutions.
• Computer literate with MS Word and Excel and ability to learn specialized databases and software systems.
• Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to gather information and provide solutions.
• Ability to work with a culturally diverse customer base and be culturally sensitive.
• Ability to motivate customers toward achieving goals and meet/exceed objectives.
• Excellent interpersonal, time management, and communication skills (oral/written).
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with confidentiality and proactive mindset.
• Adherence to Extreme Customer Service principles.
• A Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Perform all business service functions to meet performance goals and assist team members.
• Provide training and coaching to support the marketing plan execution.
• Supervise the business services team to ensure success of goals and Workforce system performance.
• Develop and oversee worksites and placements for work experience and on-the-job training contracts.
• Evaluate employer needs and align qualified job seekers with business demands through training and development.
• Coordinate daily activities and set short- and long-term goals to achieve performance goals.
• Ensure SOPs and local procedures are applied to maintain high customer service.
• Facilitate employer access to Workforce Development programs and supervise related duties.
• Develop and maintain relationships with project team members, employers, and community partners.
• Oversee marketing plan reports and monitoring documents and communicate findings to management.
• Review and approve policies and procedures for consistent application.
• Approach tasks with a ZAG mindset and adaptability.
• Handle other duties and projects as needed.
