Job summary

Texas State Technical College is seeking a Manager of Employer Relations to help develop and execute a regional strategy for employer partnerships. You will coordinate job fairs, employer spotlights, networking events, campus tours and company visits to create opportunities for TSTC students and alumni.

You will supervise Campus Lead(s), collaborate with Career Development, and align efforts with industry trends and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2 years leadership/management experience; 4 years preferred.
• 3 years program coordination experience; 5 years preferred.
• 3 years customer relationship management experience; 5 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop regional partnership strategy and execute employer engagement plans.
• Coordinate job fairs, spotlights, networking events, campus tours and visits.
• Supervise Campus Lead(s) and foster continuous learning within the team.
• Build relationships with regional employers and HR managers for programs.
• Monitor industry trends and recommend program enhancements.
• Collaborate with Career Development to maximize student employment opportunities.
• Serve as spokesperson for employer relations initiatives in the region.
