Job summary

FirstEnergy's Monongahela Power Company seeks an experienced supervisor at the Elkins Service Center to lead teams responsible for the construction, maintenance and operation of electric transmission and distribution systems.

You will drive safety programs, coach employees, enforce standards, and coordinate with other departments to meet construction schedules while managing resources and budget implications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 7 years electrical field experience.
• Advanced knowledge of transmission and distribution operations.
• Previous management/leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of AC/DC electrical circuits and construction standards.
• Proficiency with SAP, POWERON, GIS, Cascade and Syclo.

Responsibilities

• Directing and supervising employees on complex electric transmission and distribution work.
• Promote safety awareness and accountability among staff.
• Enforce procedures and safety standards per manuals and labor agreements.
• Coordinate equipment, tools, materials and supplies.
• Develop and execute work plans to meet construction schedules.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback throughout the year.
• Respond to emergencies to support public safety and reliability.
• Drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
