Job summary

Hussmann seeks a Regional Environmental Health & Safety Specialist to support EHS programs across multiple locations (IA, MO, NE, KS, SD). You will promote safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, coordinate training, and assist investigations to drive safer operations.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in OSHA standards, incident management, and cross-functional collaboration with field teams, operations leaders, and business units. Travel up to 60% within the region is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, Environmental Health, or related field.
• Proficient in Construction OSHA standards and workplace safety principles.
• Knowledge of workers' compensation and incident management processes.

Responsibilities

• Implement and administer EHS policies, procedures, and programs.
• Lead injury prevention initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
• Partner with operations to ensure OSHA and state/local safety compliance.
• Coordinate and maintain EHS documentation and records.
• Support incident investigations and OSHA logs.
• Travel to multiple sites to support safety activities (up to 60%).
