Job summary

UG2 is seeking a Regional Manager of Environmental Health and Safety to champion national injury prevention initiatives, coordinate risk management programs, and measure outcomes. You will identify and analyze work environments, develop training, and reinforce safe behaviors across sites.

The role requires prior facilities management experience in trades like engineering, mechanical and janitorial, and travel within NY, NJ and PA. Applicants should have 6+ years in HSE with multi-site leadership.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Safety, Engineering or related sciences preferred.
• Subject matter expertise in local, state and federal EHS regulations.
• 6+ years of occupational HSE work experience, with multi-site oversight.
• Knowledge of risk recognition, assessment and control techniques.
• Effective communication and computer skills including reports.
• Experience with Fleet Management Programs.
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred; ASP/CSP/CIH a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and coordinate EHS programs.
• Ensure UG2 EHS programs are implemented at all sites.
• Investigate injuries, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Lead internal audits of the safety program for conformance and effectiveness.
• Coordinate workers' compensation claims and timely filings.
• Facilitate safety orientation for new sites or employees.
• Conduct training; maintain staffing, orientation, communications and compliance.
• Manage regional risk management data and KPIs.
• Assist with oversight of UG2's Fleet Management Program.
