Job summary

Hussmann Corporation seeks a Regional Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to implement and administer safety programs across IA, MO, NE, KS, SD. You will partner with field operations, installation teams, and leaders to reduce risk and improve safety performance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in safety/Environmental Health or related field with 7+ years EHS experience (or 10+ years total), OSHA proficiency, and travel up to 60% within the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, Environmental Health, or related field; 7+ years EHS experience or 10+ years overall.
• OSHA standards proficiency across construction and workplace safety.
• Knowledge of workers' compensation and incident management processes.
• Ability to influence leaders and build cross‑functional relationships.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% within the region; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and administer EHS policies, procedures, and programs.
• Lead injury prevention, hazard identification, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate inspections, audits, and corrective actions with operational leaders.
• Support incident reporting, investigations, and evidence gathering.
• Track and report safety metrics and maintain OSHA logs and records.
