Job summary

Alter Trading Corporation is seeking a Regional EHS Coordinator to lead safety initiatives across the Council Bluffs region. The role focuses on implementing health and safety programs, training staff, and ensuring regulatory compliance with environmental standards.

The candidate will work closely with facility leadership, Environmental Managers, and Corporate Safety to develop uniform practices addressing site hazards and safety performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Experience in health, safety and environmental management.
• Ability to develop and implement safety programs.
• Experience coaching employees on safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor the health & safety program across sites.
• Develop and implement site-specific safety practices.
• Coach staff on safety topics and incident reporting.
• Oversee contractor safety to meet regulatory and company standards.
• Coordinate EHS program audits and incident investigations.
• Collaborate with environmental department on training and compliance.
