Job summary
Hussmann is seeking a proactive Regional Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to support safety programs across multiple sites in AL, AR, FL, GA, LA, and MS. You will partner with field operations, installation teams, and business leaders to drive injury prevention and continuous safety improvements.
Responsibilities include implementing EHS policies, coordinating training, incident investigations, audits, and maintaining regulatory records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, Environmental Health, or related field.
- 7+ years of EHS experience or 10+ years in EHS.
- Proficient in OSHA standards and incident management processes.
- Ability to travel up to 60% within the region.
Responsibilities
- Implement and administer EHS policies, procedures, and programs.
- Lead injury prevention, hazard identification, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with operations leaders to ensure OSHA and state/local safety compliance.
- Coordinate and maintain EHS documentation, records, and compliance files.
- Travel to company locations and customer sites to support safety activities (up to 60%).
