Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated seeks an experienced Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) leader to oversee programs across manufacturing and distribution locations. The role partners with plant leadership, engineering, legal counsel, and corporate leadership to reduce risk, ensure compliance, and advance enterprise-wide EHS initiatives.

You will develop regional EHS strategies, govern performance, and guide site professionals to standardize safety and regulatory practices while driving operational

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Environment, Health, and Safety or related field.
8+ years of relevant EHS experience.
5–8 years supervisory/leadership of EHS.
Willing to travel up to 25%.
Experience supporting workers' compensation litigation is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop regional EHS strategic plans aligned with corporate objectives.
Govern EHS performance across multiple facilities.
Lead site EHS professionals to ensure consistent standards.
Identify and implement initiatives reducing workers’ compensation costs and regulatory risk.
Collaborate with Corporate Security on physical security standards.
