Job summary

RESRG Automotive seeks a Regional EHS Manager to lead and unify EHS programs across multiple manufacturing sites in the region. You will drive risk management, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement while mentoring site leaders to build sustainable EHS capability.

The role emphasizes strategic leadership, cross-site collaboration, and proactive oversight of environmental, health, and safety performance within an organized governance framework.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain trusted, collaborative partnerships with Regional Operations Director, Plant Managers, Functional Leaders, and key Capability teams.
• Provide strategic EHS leadership across multiple manufacturing sites, ensuring alignment with company values and risk philosophy.
• Drive consistent implementation of corporate EHS standards, management systems, and critical risk controls across all facilities.
• Partner with regional and site leadership teams to integrate EHS excellence into operational performance, business planning, capital projects, and continuous improvement activities.
• Coach, mentor, and develop Plant Managers, EHS Managers, and operational leaders to build sustainable EHS leadership capability.
• Support Plant Managers and EHS Managers in developing frontline leaders' EHS knowledge, accountability, and ownership.
• Promote leadership behaviors that strengthen employee engagement, hazard recognition, and injury prevention.
• Partner with Plant Managers to recruit, develop, retain, and succession-plan EHS talent across the region.
• Provide functional leadership and indirect supervision to site EHS Managers, assess capability, and share best practices across sites.
• Lead regional governance and performance reviews to ensure accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement across sites.
• Analyze regional EHS metrics, trends, audits, incidents, and risk assessments to identify systemic issues and deploy corrective actions.
• Provide leadership support for significant incidents, regulatory inspections, customer audits, and crisis response activities.
• Conduct routine site assessments and management system reviews to verify effectiveness of EHS programs and risk controls.
• Lead or sponsor regional initiatives and improvement teams that create value for organizational capability.
• Support capital projects, acquisitions, divestitures, and major operational changes to ensure EHS risks are managed.
• Serve as escalation point for EHS issues and regulatory concerns within the region.
• Foster a culture of care and continuous improvement by sharing best practices and benchmarking performance across facilities.
