Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Regional EHS Manager to lead safety initiatives across multiple facilities.

You will drive a safety-first culture, conduct audits, investigate incidents, and mentor site teams while staying compliant with OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations. The role requires 5–7+ years in EHS, a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or OH&S, and certifications like CSP/CHMM/ASP are highly preferred.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years in the EHS field within industrial, waste management, or logistics sectors.
• CSP, CHMM, or ASP certifications preferred.
• Experience with OSHA and EPA standards; DOT/solid waste knowledge a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead site safety audits and inspections across regional facilities.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulatory compliance and best practices.
• Develop and deliver high-impact safety training programs.
• Travel up to 70% to support regional teams.
