Job summary

Vertiv in the United States is seeking a Senior EHS Leader to drive multi-site health, safety and environmental programs across the Great Lakes region. You will provide visible leadership, strategic direction, and coaching to site leaders and EHS professionals.

You will partner with operations to embed EHS into planning, capital projects, and daily management, drive accountability for hazard controls and corrective actions, and lead investigations with sustainable corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety or related field.
• Progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or complex operations.
• Experience leading EHS programs across multiple sites.
• Strong OSHA/EPA knowledge and regulatory interpretation.
• Experience with incident investigations, CAPA, and audits.
• Leadership, communication, and change-management skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and EHS data systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS strategy and performance across multiple sites.
• Provide coaching and support to site leaders and teams.
• Integrate EHS into planning, projects, and change management.
• Drive accountability for hazard control and corrective actions.
• Oversee regulatory inspections, reporting, and compliance programs.
• Lead investigations of injuries and environmental events.
