Job summary

Urban Sprouts Child Development Center is seeking an Early Childhood Education Coach, Community of Practice, to strengthen instructional practices for educators serving children ages 0-5. The role emphasizes modeling, observation, and professional development across Urban Sprouts sites.

The coach will collaborate with caregivers and teaching teams, guide curriculum alignment, and support educators in applying developmentally appropriate care. Travel between program locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's or Master's in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
• 5+ years hands-on experience as a lead teacher in early childhood classrooms (0-5).
• Experience in adult-based education, coaching, mentoring, and reflective practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with educators and program leaders across Urban Sprouts and partner sites to drive continuous quality improvement.
• Promote and support implementation of developmentally appropriate practices (Ideal Learning).
• Conduct observations and provide reflective, strengths-based feedback to educators.
