Job summary

Rotech Healthcare Inc. is seeking an Area Manager to oversee multi-site operations across a defined region. The role includes managing day-to-day activities, ensuring regulatory compliance, optimizing profitability, and leading Location Managers and clinical staff.

A strong healthcare operations background, P&L ownership, and team leadership are essential. Travel up to 70% is required, with residency within 75 miles of supported locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three years related experience required.
• Previous supervisory experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in multi-site management and P&L ownership is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations across multiple locations, ensuring regulatory compliance and alignment with company standards.
• Lead and develop Location Managers, driving accountability and patient-centered service.
• Manage area-level P&L, budgets, staffing, inventory, and equipment utilization.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including medical billing and reimbursement.
• Collaborate with sales and clinical teams to meet service goals and improve patient outcomes.
• Implement company initiatives, tools, and protocols to enhance operational efficiency.
• Monitor KPIs, A/R performance, and project deadlines across the region.
• Serve as a liaison between field operations and executive leadership.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
