Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a District/Area Manager to plan and lead the activities of all stores within the assigned area, carrying full profit and loss responsibility and aligning with company objectives. You will drive annual sales growth through effective store operations, staffing, and inventory management.

Your role emphasizes leadership, financial oversight, and superior customer service while promoting Dollar General's mission and values.

Qualifications

• Four+ years retail management experience with progressively more responsibility, managing multi-unit operations with full P&L responsibility.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Big-box retail management and/or equivalent education and experience combination will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead the activities of all stores within the assigned area of operation with full P&L responsibility.
• Foster a culture that aligns with Dollar General's mission and values.
• Provide superior customer service through friendly stores and effective leadership.
• Identify and develop opportunities for sales growth and operational improvements across the area.
• Ensure effective planning, scheduling, and communication of priorities to store teams.
