Dollar General is seeking a District Manager to lead multi-unit operations and drive profit and loss across an assigned district in the United States. You will ensure Dollar General's brand is reflected in every store, manage human resources policy execution, and drive sales growth through superior operations and effective merchandising.

The role requires a track record of delivering sales targets, strong leadership, and the ability to recruit and develop Store Managers.

Qualifikationen

• Four+ years retail management experience with multi-unit operations and full P&L responsibility.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Big-box retail management and/or equivalent education and experience.

• Consistent administration of human resources policies & practices.
• Exceptional customer service through the development of fun and friendly stores.
• Annual sales growth that meets or exceeds Company targets through exceptional operations and efficient flow processes.
• Superior visual merchandising presentation, product management and signing/pricing execution in each store.
• Effective planning and execution of Company objectives.
• Maximization of performance & productivity through Store Managers' commitment to sensible store scheduling.
• Development of Store Manager through proactive recruitment, selection and training of team members.
• Protection of Company assets through loss prevention and expense efficiencies.
• Identifying and developing new business opportunities within operational areas (i.e., distribution flow improvements, merchandising display efforts, store growth and real estate site selection, recruiting strategy, training and development priorities, employee relations, customer experience, systems implementation, etc.).
• Consistent and effective communication of Company priorities to store teams.
• Training and development to create strong visual merchandising presentations and product placements.
• Utilizing technology to train and develop strong communication avenues to keep teams informed of operational tasks.
• Develop Store Managers to ensure consistent execution of Dollar General expectations to provide exceptionally clean and organized stores for our customers and teams.
• Inclusive and on-going Company recognition programs are in place that foster a fun and rewarding environment for team members.
