Job summary

Global Roles is seeking a Senior Community Disaster Program Manager to lead a diverse team of employees and volunteers, delivering disaster relief and preparedness services within the assigned region.

You will build volunteer engagement, oversee disaster cycle services programming, and coordinate response operations, ensuring culturally and linguistically representative staffing and strong collaboration with internal partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus related experience.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience.
• 3 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated analytical and decision-making skills for program trends and improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage volunteer teams delivering disaster cycle services.
• Oversee regional disaster relief operations and program delivery.
• Develop Disaster Leadership Volunteers and partner networks.
• Build culturally and linguistically representative volunteer workforce.
• Coordinate with internal partners in matrix management.
• Act as regional disaster subject matter expert to maximize Red Cross presence and community engagement.
• Initiate, scale, coordinate and manage disaster relief operations in the region.
