Job summary

The American Red Cross seeks a Regional Client Care Manager in Tulsa, OK. You will lead a volunteer-driven team and ensure compliance with national policies to deliver disaster services.

The role requires steering program activity, capacity-building, and community engagement across a regional scope. You will deploy to disaster relief operations, with a focus on building leadership among volunteers and coordinating with internal partners to maximize impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience building, mobilizing, leading, and developing volunteer teams.
• Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Empower Volunteers: Lead and support a diverse volunteer team implementing disaster cycle services.
• Lead the Program: Implement disaster cycle services activities within assigned area or region.
• Mission Capacity Building: Develop and support disaster volunteers to meet responsibilities in readiness, response, and recovery.
• Engage Community: Mobilize communities and engage partners with functional expertise to prepare for and recover from disasters.
• Manage in a Matrix: Build relationships and collaborate with internal partners in a matrix environment.
• Know Your Communities: Act as subject matter expert to maximize Red Cross presence and community engagement.
• Ready to Respond: Initiate and coordinate disaster relief operations per the COOP.
