Job summary

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated analytical and decision-making skills to interpret program trends, results, formulate recommendations, and develop processes.
• Proven ability to collaborate with diverse groups and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Willingness to work outside regular hours including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support disaster volunteer teams responsible for local preparedness, response, and client care management, as well as relationships within the region.
• Implement disaster cycle services activities within the geographic area or region and help improve plans to meet program vision.
• Develop and support disaster volunteers who are the primary workforce to meet readiness, response, and recovery needs.
• Engage communities and partners to prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters.
