Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a Regional Mass Care Manager to coordinate disaster support across the region. You will lead volunteer teams and partner with communities to ensure feeding, sheltering, and relief services run smoothly.

This role requires travel for deployments, strong leadership, and the ability to build relationships with diverse partners. You’ll work in a mission-driven environment with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years leading and developing volunteer teams.
• Travel may be required; valid driver's license and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a diverse volunteer team across the region.
• Implement disaster cycle services activities in the region.
• Build disaster leadership volunteers and engage partners.
• Coordinate efforts to mobilize communities and resources.
• Collaborate in matrix with internal partners.
• Serve as subject matter expert for the assigned area.
• Initiate and coordinate disaster relief operations.
