Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience building, mobilizing, leading, and developing volunteer teams to execute a social services program.

Responsibilities

• Empower Volunteers: Lead and support a diverse volunteer team responsible for disaster cycle services in the region.
• Lead the Program: Implement disaster cycle services activities and improve plans to meet programmatic vision.
• Mission Capacity Building: Develop and support disaster leadership volunteers and partners.
• Engage Community: Coordinate efforts to mobilize communities and engage partners for preparedness, response and recovery.
• Manage in a Matrix: Collaborate with internal partners and volunteers in a matrix environment.
• Know Your Communities: Serve as the disaster subject matter expert for the assigned area.
• Ready to Respond: Initiate and coordinate disaster relief operations in alignment with CO/Ops.
