Job summary

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Massachusetts is seeking a Regional Director to lead our program services region. The role will own regional goals, coach staff, and work with partners to deliver high-impact mentoring programs for youth.

You will travel within the region, build strong stakeholder relationships, and help scale our 1-to-1 and other program models. A bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of experience is preferred, along with demonstrated leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of work experience, preferably in customer support, customer relationship management, human or social services.
• Proven ability to lead and grow teams, with a track record of achieving program outcomes.
• Experience communicating with diverse stakeholders, including volunteers, families and partners.

Responsibilities

• Hire, supervise, onboard, and develop Program Services staff.
• Serve as subject-matter expert for region programming questions.
• Build deep relationships with local partners to ensure strong program outcomes for youth.
• Collaborate with VP and Chief Program Officer on escalations and safety/risk management.
• Lead region events, recruit volunteers, and monitor region needs and partnerships.
• Provide region leadership and market insight to adapt programs and growth.
