Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston is seeking a Program Director to lead the development, delivery, and evaluation of high-quality youth programs. You will supervise program directors and staff, ensuring safe, engaging environments that help members grow academically, build character, and lead healthy lives.

We require a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 3–5 years of supervisory experience; a Master’s degree is preferred. Strong collaboration with families and community partners is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; three to five years in youth development or related programs.
• Strong knowledge of youth development principles and program quality practices.
• At least three years of supervisory or program leadership experience.
• Ability to coach staff and build relationships with youth, families, and partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for development, delivery, and outcomes of core and new programs.
• Supervise department directors and program staff; support staff development.
• Ensure inclusive, developmentally appropriate learning environments for members.
• Develop and maintain community partnerships to support program goals.
• Lead program evaluation activities and use findings for improvement.
