Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Boston is seeking a Regional Director of Early Education to lead high-quality programs at Wang YMCA. You will set strategic direction, ensure licensing compliance, and drive curriculum aligned with state standards.

You will oversee budget and operations, supervise educators, support professional growth, and partner with families and partners to advance YMCA outcomes in Healthy Living, Youth Development, and Social Responsibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required in Elementary Education or related field.
• 4 or more year's professional educational experience supervising staff and developing curriculum.
• EEC Qualifications-Lead Infant/Toddler Teacher, Lead Preschool Teacher and Director II Qualified.

Responsibilities

• Connect program activities to YMCA core focus areas of Healthy Living, Youth Development, and Social Responsibility.
• Oversee licensing, quality compliance, and professional qualifications registries.
• Collaborate with branch executives, regional program administrators and the association director.
• Ensure safety, staff supervision, family engagement, and curriculum implementation.
• Develop and maintain a developmentally appropriate, inclusive curriculum.
• Monitor program performance, budgeting and fiscal health.
