Job summary

Boys and Girls Clubs of Boston is seeking a Program Director to lead high‑quality youth development programs and drive academic success, character development, and healthy lifestyles among members. The role supervises program leaders, partners with executives for staffing, and promotes inclusive environments, all aimed at achieving BGCB’s mission in the Roxbury area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in youth development, education, nonprofit management, or a related field (or equivalent).
• 3–5 years in youth development, education, or nonprofit program management.
• Strong knowledge of youth development principles, program quality, and inclusive environments.
• Proven supervisory and staff-development capabilities; able to coach program teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for development, delivery, and outcomes of youth programs.
• Supervise department directors and program leaders; support staff development.
• Collaborate with leadership on staffing, safety, and program scheduling; ensure alignment with mission.
