Job summary

Wellvana is seeking a Regional Director of Value-Based Care in Houston or SW Texas to lead performance management and partner advancement for mid-sized partners or those entering increased value-based risk.

You will serve as the primary performance and relationship leader, translating insights into measurable partner outcomes and guiding clinical programs and service levers to improve value-based care maturity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field.
• 6+ years in healthcare operations, strategy, administration, or care delivery with at least four years in management position.
• Experience managing healthcare or value-based care partner portfolios.
• Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into operational execution.
• Comfort operating across clinical, operational, and financial domains.

Responsibilities

• Own performance outcomes for the assigned partner portfolio.
• Translate analytics and insights into actionable partner strategies.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to address risks or gaps.
• Deepen partner relationships through proactive value-based care guidance.
• Coordinate deployment of clinical programs, service levers, and internal SMEs.
• Balance execution quality with long-term partner advancement.
