Job summary

The Health & Human Services Commission (HHSC) is seeking a Regional Director to lead Eligibility Services across the Texas Works programs in the AES division. You will shape regional strategy, supervise managers, and ensure program goals align with state policies.

Qualifications include a public admin or related degree and at least five years of managing large eligibility programs, with strong communication and budgeting skills.

Qualifications

• Requires a university degree in Public Administration, Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or Business Management.
• Minimum five years managing SNAP/Medicaid or Cash Assistance programs.
• Experience leading multiple locations and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the region and align with agency goals.
• Direct and supervise program managers and staff to meet performance targets.
• Develop and monitor plans, budgets and funding requests within allocations.
