Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) seeks a Program Manager for the Access and Eligibility Services division in Alamo, TX. The role leads eligibility unit supervisors, coaches staff, and oversees planning, development, and monitoring of AES programs. Travel up to 40% may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Sixty (60) semester hours from an accredited college or university; degree preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience supervising SNAP/Medicaid/MEPD or Cash Assistance units.
• Experience with TIERS/EWMS is preferred.
• Willingness to travel and work beyond ordinary hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage eligibility operations to ensure timely, accurate delivery of services per state and federal rules.
• Develop and maintain systems to monitor operations and ensure policy compliance.
• Collect, organize, and analyze information and prepare reports in response to information requests.
