Job summary

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet is seeking a Director of Stores to lead store operations across their Columbus region. You will manage a remote field leadership team to achieve sales, inventory and service goals while driving profitability.

Responsibilities include strategic planning, coaching District Team Leaders, visiting stores, recruiting and evaluating Associates, and ensuring safety and compliance. Frequent travel is required and you’ll report to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 10 years of retail multi-unit management experience.
• Ability to manage in a professional work environment with integrity.
• Strong leadership, judgment, planning and execution.
• Excellent interpersonal and listening skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procedures for efficient store operations.
• Strategic planning for store growth and profitability.
• Oversee inventory control, shipping/receiving and labor use.
• Report performance and drive improvements across stores.
• Coach and develop District Team Leaders and supervise staff.
• Ensure high quality customer service by leaders and associates.
• Conduct store visits to uphold standards.
• Assist in recruitment, evaluations and promotions.
• Support Health and Safety planning and compliance.
• Provide training and motivation to teams.
• Develop succession plans for direct reports and leadership.
