Mendocino Farms is seeking a Director of Operations to lead a team of restaurant operators focused on operational excellence in the Portland area. You will shape operations strategy, oversee multiple locations, and travel to Los Angeles as needed.

The right candidate brings 7+ years of restaurant leadership, strong P&L acumen, exceptional communication, and the ability to develop talent in a high-growth environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of successful restaurant management/leadership operations experience.
• Senior leadership experience leading large restaurant teams in a geographically dispersed operations environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Excel.
• High performance teams and a strong team player.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead field operations teams to deliver on Selling Happy.
• Monitor and drive flawless execution in day-to-day operations; visit restaurants to ensure adherence to guidelines across all dayparts.
• Hire, train, develop, retain and evaluate leadership talent to create high performing teams and reduce turnover.
• Assist with development of strategic and tactical plans for the market and ensure completion with accountability.
• Monitor business metrics and coach using data from daily sales reports, scorecards and labor/food cost tools.
• Develop and execute plans to achieve and beat sales and profitability targets for existing and new openings.
• Champion operating culture with strong accountability to financial and operational standards.
• Oversee opening, execution and results of new restaurant openings; active in pre/post opening.
• Build cross-functional partnerships across Base Camp and the company.
• Deliver on company goals and KPIs and present recommendations to the executive team.
• Ensure compliance with local laws, food safety and labor regulations.
• Maintain industry network and local market knowledge.
