Job summary

BioCryst Pharmaceuticals seeks a Regional Business Director to drive the Great Lakes region's performance, owning P&L and leading Rare Disease Specialists. You will collaborate with the commercial leadership to align goals and execute regional plans.

This role requires a proven biotech/pharma sales background, strategic vision, and the ability to travel; proximity to a major airport is a plus as regional travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 10 years of proven biotech/pharmaceutical sales experience.
• Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills.
• Track record of KOL-relationship development.
• Significant travel required; proximity to a major airport ideal.
• Launch experience and small start-up commercial experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Exceed regional sales goals and objectives.
• Lead Rare Disease Specialists and develop team.
• Develop and execute regional business plan and budget.
• Collaborate with commercial and project management teams.
• Represent BioCryst with customers in the Great Lakes region.
