Job summary

hireneXus is seeking a Director of Operations to oversee a regional portfolio of multi-site physician practices in Central New Jersey. The role focuses on operational excellence, financial performance, physician partnership, and an exceptional patient experience.

The leader will guide Practice Managers, partner with physicians and senior leadership, and ensure growth across roughly 15–25 locations, with about 43 clinicians and 7 physician groups. Central New Jersey travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA/MHA preferred.
• Five+ years of progressive healthcare operations leadership experience.
• Experience managing multi-site physician practices or ambulatory centers.
• Experience leading managers and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong financial acumen with budgets, P&L, and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for a portfolio of multi-site physician practices.
• Coach and develop Practice Managers to drive accountability and excellence.
• Partner with physicians and leaders to improve financial performance and patient access.
• Analyze metrics to identify trends and drive performance improvements.
• Develop action plans to enhance patient satisfaction and practice performance.
• Oversee annual budgeting, staffing plans, and capital recommendations.
• Ensure regulatory compliance across sites.
• Support onboarding of newly acquired practices.
• Collaborate with Finance, HR, Marketing, IT and shared services.
