Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Regional Director to lead a team of Community Managers across the Charleston/Summerville market, serving as a strategic partner to clients and driving satisfaction, retention, and operational excellence. The role emphasizes building high-performing teams, developing talent, strengthening executive-level client relationships, and solving complex business challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
• 5 to 7 years’ experience in property management, construction or hospitality preferred
• Experience in operations, account management or relationship management an asset
• Valid state driver's license and state-mandated vehicle insurance
• Possesses and maintains certification from CCAM or CAI in property management
• Critical thinking, problem solving, judgement and decision-making abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook and Windows

Responsibilities

• Works with leadership to devise client relationship management plans and activities based on client classification and importance
• Executes relationship management activities to identify issues and opportunities and develops action plans to improve property and client relationships, focusing on high-risk accounts
• Models company culture, values and brand promise to foster client relationships
• Acts as a brand ambassador by communicating and demonstrating the value of products and services
• Builds strong relationships with board members and serves as a trusted advisor
• Manages financial and operational goals for each client including developer transitions and capital projects
• Owns key performance indicators for client book such as customer experience, retention and profitability
• Maintains growth and profitability of each account through adding products and services
• Attracts, develops and retains a diverse team of managers and supports onboarding of new community managers
• Provides training, coaching and career development for associates
• Mentors community managers and communicates professionalism and strong work ethic
• Ensures tasks are completed per SOPs and collaborates with other departments to deliver results
