Job summary

FirstService Residential in Charleston, SC is seeking a Regional Director to lead a team of Community Managers and partner with clients across the Charleston/Summerville market. This leadership role drives client satisfaction, retention, and operational excellence while fostering accountability and exceptional service.

The ideal candidate builds high-performing teams, strengthens executive-level relationships, and aligns strategy with growth goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• 5–7 years’ experience in property management, construction or hospitality.
• Valid state driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
• Certification from CCAM or CAI in property management.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook and Windows.
• Ability to handle sensitive information.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Experience in operations or account/relationship management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop client relationship management plans for each client.
• Execute relationship activities and create action plans for improvements, especially high-risk accounts.
• Model company culture, values and brand promise to strengthen client relationships.
• Act as a brand ambassador by communicating value of products and services.
• Build relationships with boards and provide trusted advisory insights.
• Understand and influence financial and operational goals for each client.
• Own KPIs for your book: customer experience, client retention, growth and profitability.
• Manage FirstService client contracts and secure timely renewals.
• Grow accounts by adding new products and services based on client needs.
• Attract, develop and retain a diverse team of managers; support onboarding of community managers.
• Provide coaching and career development for associates.
• Mentor managers and uphold professional standards.
• Ensure tasks align with SOPs and coordinate with other departments to deliver results.
