Job summary

Cursor is hiring a Regional Director, Field Engineering to build and lead a high-impact pre-sales Field Engineering team within one of our core industry verticals. You will partner with AEs to drive technical discovery, demos, and proofs of concept with Fortune 500 accounts, coaching the team and ensuring credibility for Cursor's AI-native development platform.

This hands-on leadership role requires vertical expertise, technical fluency, and a track record of scaling engineering-to-sales motion

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in pre-sales or field engineering
• Strong collaboration with Sales, Product, and Engineering
• Experience building teams and delivering enterprise evaluations

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale a Field Engineering team supporting enterprise opportunities within the assigned vertical
• Partner with Sales leadership to drive technical discovery, demos, and proofs of concept with strategic accounts
• Own the 0-to-1 build-out of the vertical Field Engineering practice, including events, collateral, and executive relationships
