Job summary

Heartland Dental LLC is seeking a Regional Manager of Operations to lead a region of supported offices. You will implement efficiencies, drive profitability, and grow the company footprint while maintaining strong relationships with administrators to front desk staff in a remote-friendly setting.

In this administrative leadership role, you’ll oversee 5–7 offices, support dentists, manage budgets and P&L, hire and coach Practice Managers, and report to the Regional Director of Operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of business management experience OR an associate degree with at least three years of business management experience OR a Bachelor’s degree with one year of experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to travel frequently with some overnight stays.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and mature judgment.
• Proven ability to build relationships across diverse teams and locations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee administrative operations of 5–7 supported dental offices.
• Support dentists in growth, set goals, and address opportunities.
• Motivate teams, resolve conflicts, and make decisions.
• Analyze business reporting and develop recommendations to hit budget and EBITDA goals.
• Monitor P&L and close performance gaps; coordinate regional reviews.
• Coordinate visits with Practice Managers and conduct quarterly business meetings.
• Hiring, training, and coaching of Practice Managers; contribute to dentist selection.
• Develop workforce planning and retention strategies; provide management reports.
