Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc. seeks a Regional Director of Operations to oversee a portfolio of ambulatory surgical centers. You will drive P&L, improve performance, and align with USPI strategies, while strengthening physician partnerships and governance engagement.

Lead a team of administrators, plan budgets, forecast, and optimize operations to grow volume, improve quality, safety and patient experience across the network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health professions, business administration or related field; master's preferred.
• Minimum five years' experience in healthcare business development, operations, finance or consulting.
• Demonstrated success with people management.
• Excellent verbal, written and formal presentation skills.
• Ability to work with C-level healthcare partners, physicians, staff and patients.
• Excel & PowerPoint analytical and presentation skills required.
• Ability to articulate financial results and respond to stakeholder questions.
• Strong math skills to support budgeting and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own execution of operational and financial priorities across centers, including budgeting and EBITDA performance.
• Lead admins/CEOs to identify barriers, take corrective actions and improve performance.
• Drive case volume growth by enabling surgeon engagement and service line development.
• Monitor KPIs, address risks, and plan actions for quality, safety and results.
• Cultivate partnerships with physicians and supervise governance with boards.
• Represent USPI on Governing Boards and ensure governance alignment.
• Foster open cross-departmental communication toward common goals.
