Job summary

United Surgical Partners International seeks a Regional Director of Operations to oversee a portfolio of ambulatory surgical centers, driving P&L, service levels, quality, safety, and compliance. Partnerships with physicians, Governing Boards, and corporate resources will be essential to execute business plans and growth aligned with USPI’s strategy.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in health professions, business administration, public administration or related field
Minimum five years’ experience in healthcare business development, operations, finance or consulting
Demonstrated success with people management
Excellent verbal and written communication; formal presentation skills
Ability to engage with C-level healthcare partners and physicians; strong financial acumen

Responsibilities

Own and optimize operational and financial priorities across a portfolio of ambulatory surgery centers (budgets, forecasting, EBITDA)
Lead administrators/CEOs to improve center performance and address barriers
Drive case volume growth through surgeon engagement, service line development and scheduling efficiency
Monitor KPIs, elevate risks, and implement action plans for quality, safety, and financial results
Cultivate and maintain partnerships with physicians and sit on Governing Boards as needed
