Position Summary

The Regional Director, Accounts Receivable, directs accounts receivable fund operations and supports client services for the assigned geographic region in accordance with Company guidelines, client needs, and legislative requirements.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

  1. Directs accounts receivable operations and staff consistent with management values and mission.
  2. Develops staff through performance management, goal setting, training, and effective employee relations.
  3. Oversees internal systems, policies, and procedures to ensure accounts receivable operations are compliant with client needs, new developments, regulations, and reporting requirements.
  4. Employs management oversight measures to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory and legal guidelines.
  5. Provides final review and sign off on account reconciliations for accuracy and reasonableness.
  6. Responds to escalated inquiries and requests from clients, government agencies, unions, participants, attorneys, and consultants.
  7. Develops and manages department budget to ensure efficient operations remain within budget guidelines.
  8. Maintains effective communications and working relationships with management, staff, clients, government agencies, unions, participants, attorneys, and consultants.
  9. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, management, or related field and seven years of related work experience such as bookkeeping, finance, banking, accounting, or benefits administration.
  • High school diploma and ten years of related work experience such as bookkeeping, finance, banking, accounting, or benefits administration.
  • Six years of experience in a management role.
  • Strong organizational skills with a demonstrated attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • The ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office tools and applications.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a third-party administrator, insurance, or health and welfare environment.
  • Prior experience in Taft-Hartley trust administration.
