Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking a Regional Dining Services Director to oversee dining operations across multiple communities. You will work with Executive Directors and regional teams to ensure top-quality food, service, safety, and budget performance, including hiring support for new Directors and ongoing training.

The role requires frequent weekly travel, provides auto and phone allowances, and involves leading the dining portion of the pre-opening process for new communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or accredited culinary training; 2–5 years of experience preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of dining experience in a senior care community with leadership skills.
• ServSafe certification and applicable state licensure preferred.
• Experience coaching and mentoring dining services staff.

Responsibilities

• Support Executive Directors with interviewing and screening new Dining Services Directors.
• Provide ongoing training on vendor accounts, menus, budgets, and Cedarhurst programs.
• Supervise dining service departments across communities and ensure QA and health guidelines.
• Lead pre-opening dining setups for new communities and travel to communities weekly.
• Prepare and distribute community site visit reports and follow up with ED and DSD.
