Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking a Regional Dining Services Director to oversee dining programs across multiple communities. The role partners with executives to ensure food quality, service, safety, and budget performance, with responsibilities including staff training, vendor management, and site visits.

The position requires frequent weekly travel, involvement in pre-opening activities, and a strong focus on health department compliance and customer service excellence across communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or accredited culinary training (2–5 years preferred).
• Three years of dining experience in a senior care community with leadership and organizational skills.
• ServSafe certification required.
• State licensure where applicable.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor dining services staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide support in interviewing and screening for new DSDs.
• Train and mentor Dining Services Directors on budgets, menu systems, and Cedarhurst programs.
• Supervise dining service departments and ensure QA and health department compliance.
• Oversee pre-opening dining setup for new communities.
• Travel frequently across assigned Cedarhurst communities.
