Job summary

Teach Plus seeks a Regional Development Director to lead a multi-state fundraising portfolio, focusing on cultivating donors and supporting Executive Directors to build pipelines of donors. You will design engagement plans, set asks, and track progress using dashboards to raise significant funding for student impact nationwide.

You will also coach Executive Directors, co-lead professional learning on fundraising practices, and partner with regional and national teams to improve development

Qualifications

• 7+ years in nonprofit fundraising with proven donor engagement.
• Experience building multi-state fundraising pipelines and strategies.
• Ability to coach executives and cross-functional teams in fundraising.
• Strong writing and presentation skills for proposals and reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio across 5–7 states raising $3M–$6M annually.
• Develop and drive engagement plans, stewardship, and donor communications.
• Coach Executive Directors and coordinate with national teams.
• Collaborate on cross-functional grant proposals and event logistics.
• Maintain funder pipelines and dashboards; track progress to goals.
• Support ongoing professional development for Teach Plus fundraising staff.
