Job summary

Hospitality Purveyors International seeks a Regional Design Lead to guide design governance during pre-construction across multiple Caribbean-focused projects. Based in Miami with ~50% travel, you will ensure brand pillars and design ethos translate into cohesive, buildable concepts.

You will coordinate FF&E and space planning with design consultants and internal teams to maximize guest experience while maintaining durability and operational alignment.

• Experience leading design coordination in pre-construction across multiple projects.
• Ability to translate product briefs, brand pillars and design ethos into cohesive design direction.
• Strong collaboration with consultants, vendors and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design coordination and product alignment during pre-construction for assigned projects.
• Provide design leadership on interior concepts, materials, layouts, and FF&E to align with brand and guest experience.
• Establish cadence, agendas and tracking for design reviews and milestones.
• Review and approve design-scope deliverables at key milestones; ensure alignment with brand standards and operational requirements.
• Communicate design direction clearly to consultants and translate briefs into spatial solutions.
• Support space planning validation to ensure layouts meet usability and guest experience objectives.
• Oversee FF&E development, specifications and selections respecting durability and safety standards.
• Coordinate with architectural and engineering teams to ensure accessibility and lifecycle considerations.
