Job summary

ACV Auctions is seeking a Dealer Floorplan Regional Sales Manager to drive new business in a defined territory. You will work with Floorplan Directors and Territory Managers to pursue opportunities, underwrite accounts, and manage a growing portfolio with a data-driven, customer-first approach.

The role requires a 4-year degree in business/finance, experience in auto/finance, and strong CRM and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• 4 Year / Bachelors Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance required.
• 3 years of prior work experience in Auto or Financial service industry.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Working knowledge in inventory finance software programs.
• Experience in analyzing automobile dealer financial statements and tax returns.
• Experience using a CRM (preferably Salesforce) to maintain sales pipeline.
• Working knowledge of ACV Auctions products and services.

Responsibilities

• Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
• Develop and execute an aggressive sales plan within a defined market.
• Build prospect list through effective cold calling, lead follow-up and referrals.
• Ensure continued follow-up during onboarding; service accounts in person and via phone, resolving customer issues and seeking growth opportunities.
• Utilize Salesforce daily for reporting and tracking purposes.
• Hit target levels in new applications, signed contracts and activations.
• Underwrite potential customers initially.
• Collaborate with Regional Managers, Territory Managers and Vehicle Condition Inspectors.
• Manage multiple priorities within tight timeframes with attention to detail.
• Communicate with management to resolve credit or audit issues and ensure proper documentation.
