Job summary

Target is seeking an Engineering & Facilities Maintenance Technician 1 (MT1) in a Supply Chain Facility. The role focuses on maintaining automated material handling equipment, preventive maintenance, and quick troubleshooting to support fast, reliable operations across distribution networks.

You will collaborate with Senior Engineers, work on equipment in trailers and facilities, and may travel to nearby sites to procure parts. Entry-level with growth potential into Maintenance Technician 2.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Degree from vocational school or college with a focus in mechanical or electrical field preferred.
• Experience with automated systems and MHE is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair automated material handling and facility equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment including MHE, HVAC, and related systems.
• Read and understand basic electrical and electronic schematics.
• Use mobile apps to create and close work orders with proper data.
