Job summary

Target is seeking an Engineering & Facilities Operations Manager for the Fontana Regional Distribution Center. The role leads a maintenance team, drives reliability, and collaborates with external contractors to keep equipment uptime high and safety top priority.

The position requires a 4-year engineering degree (or related field) and proven supervisory experience in a multi-contractor environment, with strong reading of policies and effective communication across teams.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience supervising a team in a multi-contractor environment.
• Ability to read, interpret, and communicate policies and procedures.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and influence others.
• Experience with multi-contractor management.
• Commitment to safety policies (Lock Out/Tag Out, Arc Flash) and PPE usage.
• Onboarding and training new hires; develop team capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead Maintenance Technicians, Utility Attendants and EAM Techs to high performance.
• Oversee safety investigations and incident reviews; promote safe site practices.
• Manage reliability and lifecycle of site equipment and assets.
• Approve parts expenditures within corporate guidelines; supervise external contractors.
• Ensure data integrity and adherence to Asset Management standards.
• Develop shift hand-offs and performance metrics across the Engineering & Facilities team.
